The purpose of the AWPA Test Centre is to provide a certification testing service to members of the AWPA and other industry participants. The service is primarily used to support the AWPA Product Certification Scheme, which is a fully JAS-ANZ accredited scheme enabling the AWPA to certify its member for various types of wood panel products.
The scheme is outlined in the AWPA Product Certification Manual and the AWPA Specific Rules for Product Certification.
The credibility, accuracy and competence of the Test Centre are extremely important in supporting the Product Certification Scheme and therefore NATA Accreditation is seen as a necessary confirmation of these requirements. The AWPA is committed to compliance with all NATA requirements including the International Standard ISO/IEC 17025-1999. |
